Hagar's Choice (Why the name Hagar?)

History
Hagar was an Egyptian princess, cast away by her own people. She work as a slave to Abraham’s wife Sarah. Sarah was barren and forced Hagar her slave to “be with” her husband. But the site of Hagar being pregnant with her husband’s child, increased the jealousy within Sarah. The infertility of Sarah increased the jealousy.

...and then there were four

The idea from the start was to look after only ONE baby at a time. The need is really great - and the hospital phoned me and we agreed to take in TWO at a time...

...now my hearts capacity has grown to FOUR! The phone-calls come weekly and I've had to say NO on numerous occasions - as we can only accommodate so many babies at a time.

Eventually after all the paper work was done I packed my first “Kangaroo Mom” baby bag, waiting for the phone to ring so I can go and get my first baby.

I will never forgot that day the phone rang, nappy bag ready, pram and car chair ready. All the excitement, you could almost smell it in the air.
